Me at 9 months pregnant:)

Here I am in all my glory, just a week before my due date! Yeah I know my belly has gotten big, I get asked quite frequently if I am having twins, but it is just one: ) My family all made guesses on the baby's weight, the smallest guess was 8lbs 2 oz and the largest at 9lb 8 oz. Let's hope I am toward that lower end. I am due this Sunday but it is not looking good for me to have this baby by then. We will see I guess. I am thinking I will be back to school this next Monday to teach one more week and then the doctor said they would induce on Dec. 8th. That's Ryan's birthday, so that is what he is really praying for. I'll keep you updated and post some pictures once this little one is born. Who knows maybe once I am not working everyday I might actually keep up with this blog:)

Lily's Room

We finally finished the baby's room. It took us a while to get started on it, but alas it is now done!!!! My friend Kelly and I did most of the room. We were looking around Wal-mart for decoration ideas and we saw those huge flowers. We absolutely loved them and then had to find a way to make it work. So hence, the picket fence and the tree. Some girls from church painted the tree for me and Ryan did the apples on it. We got a great deal on the furniture for the room. Someone in my ward found it at a garage sale and called us. We got the crib, rocking chair, changing table, dresser, and bedding set for $500 and it all looks new. It's perfect! I think the room turned out really cute and now we just need a little girl to live in it:)

Well, I know that I am really terrible at this blogging stuff. I keep saying I am going to update more often, but I am just no good at it. JeNece was giving me a hard time that I hadn't even posted on here that I was pregnant. I am sure most of you have figured that out by now. I am due November 30th and as you can see am getting bigger by the day. I have only 11 weeks left. Although it seems like I have been pregnant forever sometimes and that I will never see my feet again, the time has really flown by. I really have had an easy pregnancy. I haven't been sick not once and have felt relatively great the entire time. I am still teaching and playing on the volleyball team. We are having a little girl and plan to name her Lily:) Ryan asks me all the time if she can just be born already. He said he is sick of me being pregnant, men just have no idea! Well time for me to get to sleep. I'll try to get back on here and post again before the baby is born at least.

Yikes, I forgot!

I guess welcome to the story of my life, I tend to forget things quite often, I don't have much of a long term memory. Well, I got in a car accident (my fault unfortunately) back in Janauary and my court date wasn't until March. The officer led me to believe that I could get out of the ticket since it was raining and it was really the fault of the guy two cars up who stopped unexpectedly. So the night before my court date, which I had completely forgotten about, Ryan says, So what are you going to do about your court date tomorrow. Whoops! Court was set for 2 right in the middle of the school day. It ended up working out, I got my parapro to cover my class for the last 2 hours of the day, she was a little stressed about me not being there for the easter egg hunt, but oh well. The courthouse in Loganville is a disorganized mess, but a crazy money generator. They had over 200 of us shoved in one room and pretty much acted like for minor traffic violations it wasn't worth your time to see the judge, so I just payed my fine and left. Ryan is going to court next week for his accident a month after mine in our rental car, maybe he will have better luck getting out of his fine than I did. Of course, Ryan reminded me when I was stressing, that if I had a planner that I would have remembered. But that would just be way too organized for me!
Ah, and now today, a day of rest. So thankful for Good Friday!

New to this

I have enjoyed reading other people's blogs, but I didn't have one myself so I figured what the heck. Now, my sister did advise me that people don't really enjoy looking at your blog unless you have kids. I don't have any of those yet, but I'll give it a try anyway. It's okay sis, I know you were kidding. Well, the best thing about today was I had a volleyball game. I play volleyball on the school teacher team. We play against other schools near us. Our team has traditionally stunk to put it mildly. We lose just about every week, but it is my 3rd year playing and I absolutely love it. Today we actually played awesome and won the first game 30 - 28. But we somehow lost it the last two games and lost the series. Bummer! There's always next week!
